II Revelation 18
II Revelation 18:1 The number of man is six hundred and sixteen, 616, because this is the pattern man liveth by, as I shall expound:
II Revelation 18:2 On the Sixth Day, God created Adam first, and then Eve as his counterpart from one of his ribs.
II Revelation 18:3 Adam was the greater Sixth Day creation, and Eve was the lesser Sixth Day creation.
II Revelation 18:4 Thus, saith Paul, 'The wives! to your own husbands subject yourselves, as to the Lord, because the husband is head of the wife, as also the Christ [is] head of the assembly, and he is savior of the body, but even as the assembly is subject to Christ, so also [are] the wives to their own husbands in everything.'
II Revelation 18:5 For, the two are joined in one flesh, and sanctified in marriage by God, according as the Lord saith — 'What therefore God did join together, let not man put asunder.'
II Revelation 18:6 Man was created in the image of God — whose number is One.
II Revelation 18:7 And the virgin, as 616, is to himself a counterpart — in God, 'anxious for the things of the Lord, and how he shall please the Lord,' saith Paul.
II Revelation 18:8 Another example of how man liveth according to the pattern of 616, cometh from the Instructions of Moses, which we may no longer rely upon in oldness of letter for salvation, as Paul saith —
II Revelation 18:9 'for as many as are of works of law are under a curse, for it hath been written, 'Cursed [is] every one who is not remaining in all things that have been written in the Book of the Law — to do them,'
II Revelation 18:10 and that in law no one is declared righteous with God, is evident, because, 'The righteous by faith shall live;'
II Revelation 18:11 and the law is not by faith, but — 'The man who did them shall live by them.''
II Revelation 18:12 Under the Instructions of Moses, all men work six days, and keep holy one day, the Sabbath, to rest before God Almighty.
II Revelation 18:13 And remember that the Sabbath was created for man by God.
II Revelation 18:14 Also, the Jews live by the six hundred and thirteen commands of the old covenant given unto them through Moses.
II Revelation 18:15 The Christians live by the same law in the spirit, according to the two commands of faith, and the new command that any one who is speaking evil of the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven in this age, nor the age to come.
II Revelation 18:16 The pattern doth manifest again in the books of the Holy Writings, for sixty-six books were created from the thirty-nine natural divisions of the old covenant and twenty-seven of the new covenant,
II Revelation 18:17 (To the Hebrews first, as the men first intrusted with the oracles of God).
II Revelation 18:18 And one book, as the secret of God, the most holy of them all, was written by one who is of the nations and hath a Greek name.
II Revelation 18:19 The pattern expounded, which may be difficult to understand, because it is very spiritual in nature, (not natural to the knowledge of all men,) is clear if you follow the pattern of sixes and ones.
